L'Art'cherche - Henri de Lacaze-Duthiers, l'art d'imager la science - Affiche - 2021

Since June 4, 2021, as part of the sixth edition of Art'Cherche and the celebration of the Bicentenary of the birth of Henri Lacaze-Duthiers and the 140th anniversary of the Arago Laboratory, the Oceanological Observatory is pleased to present on the esplanade Albert Sagols, in partnership with the mairie of Banyuls-sur-Mer, the annual exhibition and unpublished « Henri de Lacaze-Duthiers, l'art d'imager la science ».

2021 is the year of the bicentenary of the birth of professor and academician Henri de Lacaze-Duthiers, one of the most eminent zoologists of the 19th century. Author of more than 250 articles and books, he carried out remarkable work, in particular on the red coral and the purple.
